

John Owen, Chief Executive Officer

As QSR’s Chief Executive Officer, John works closely with the Board of Directors to set and implement our strategic direction.

John has more than twenty years experience in the IT industry. He began his career with General Electric in the United States, and has since held senior positions with large multinational corporations and smaller specialized software organizations in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. John was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2001.
Joyce Chang, Chief Financial Officer
BBus (Accounting), CPA
As QSR’s Chief Financial Officer, Joyce is responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, including sales order efficiency, inventory management, foreign currency dealings and software licensing.

Joyce has more than nine years experience in the accounting field across a broad range of industries, including financial services, health and IT. A qualified CPA, Joyce has held senior finance roles at Symbion Health (formerly Mayne Group), Financial Synergy and Bell Potter Securities. Joyce joined QSR in 2006.
Susan Dart, Business Development Director
BSc (Computer Science), MSE, MPD
As QSR's Business Development Director, Susan is responsible for identifying and driving new opportunities for growth, including developing new markets and managing our business and partner relationships.

Susan has more than 30 years experience in the IT industry, including 17 years in the United States of America. She has held senior roles in a range of organizations, from Silicon Valley start-ups and her own US-based firm Dart Technology Strategies Inc, to the Australian Department of Defence and most recently Deloitte. Susan was also a former CEO of Software Engineering Australia. She joined QSR in 2008.
Adam Long, Chief Technology Officer

As QSR’s Chief Technology Officer, Adam provides technical direction for our software products. He leads our software development team, which manage our IT infrastructure and develop our software products.

Adam has more than fifteen years experience in technical and management roles predominately within the finance and telecommunications industries. Specializing in large-scale development projects, he has worked for the Aviva Group (formerly Norwich Union Australia), IBM and the ANZ Banking Group. Adam joined QSR in 2003.
Karen Thomas, Marketing Director

As QSR’s Marketing Director, Karen is responsible for our marketing communications and customer service teams. She ensures that our marketing strategies and software support services are focused on meeting customer needs.

Karen has more than ten years marketing and service management experience. She has held senior management positions in IT and professional services firms across Australia and the United Kingdom, including NEC Business Solutions. She has held ‘start up’ roles with responsibility for the development and implementation of business and marketing strategies from the ground up, as well as the refresh or establishment of new brands.
Paul Condon, Manager – EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
As QSR’s Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Paul is responsible for one of our largest markets. His role is to manage and ensure a seamless QSR experience for the whole of EMEA.

Paul has extensive experience working for some of the largest and most advanced IT specialists and major financial organizations in the United Kingdom. Originally trained in the British Army and a qualified Engineer, Paul has held senior sales executive positions at ICL (International Computers Ltd) and BISL (Bull Information Systems Ltd). As the Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Paul enjoys the challenging role of managing QSR’s presence in these diverse markets.
Peter Neuhold, Business Development Manager – Asia-Pacific

As QSR’s Business Development Manager for Asia-Pacific, Peter is responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective customer service experience for existing, new and prospective clients in the region.

Peter has a 20 year history in the information technology industry, spanning a variety of roles, from product marketing to sales. Peter has worked with a range of organizations, from multi-national corporations to small local companies. Previously an Account Manager with SAS, Peter’s move to QSR meant a switch from the world of “Quant” to the world of “Qual”.
John Woolcott, Vice President, The Americas
As QSR’s Vice President Business Development for the Americas, John manages all QSR business throughout North and South America from his Cambridge, Massachusetts base.
"Fourth generation research software is seeing rapid take up in North America. It’s exciting to be on the technological cusp as more and more customers see the value in our products for both themselves and their organizations."
Originally from New Zealand, John has spent his entire professional career in Europe and the United States. A specialist in international operations, he has held senior management positions in both large multi-national corporations and small start-up companies within the IT Industry.
