John Owen, Chief Executive Officer
BSc (Computer Science)
As QSR’s Chief Executive Officer, John works closely with the Board of Directors to set and implement our strategic direction.

John has more than twenty five years experience in the IT industry. He began his career with General Electric in the United States, and has since held senior positions with large multinational corporations and smaller specialized software organizations in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. John was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2001.
Joyce Chang, Chief Financial Officer
BBus (Accounting), CPA
As QSR’s Chief Financial Officer, Joyce is responsible for managing the financial aspects of our business, including sales order efficiency, tax/accounting compliances, internal and external audit, foreign currency dealings and financial reporting.

Joyce has more than seventeen years experience in the accounting field across a broad range of industries, including financial services, health and IT. A qualified CPA, Joyce has held senior finance roles at Symbion Health (formerly Mayne Group), Financial Synergy and Bell Potter Securities.
David Fenech, Information Services Manager
As QSR’s Information Services Manager, David provides strategic direction for our IT and technical services teams.

David has more than fourteen years experience in the IT industry predominately in consultancy, service delivery and management roles. His specializations are maximising usability, stability, performance and continuity across a range of technical solutions to customers and networks worldwide.
Adam Long, Chief Technology Officer

As QSR’s Chief Technology Officer, Adam is responsible for envisioning and developing QSR’s software products. Adam is passionate about innovation and technology, especially where it is applied to assist people to better understand and improve the world around us.

Adam has more than twenty years experience in technical and management roles predominately within the finance and telecommunications industries. Specializing in large-scale development projects, he has worked for IBM, Aviva Group, and ANZ Banking Group.
Tim Lyons, Head of Global Marketing
BBus (Marketing and International Business)
As QSR’s Head of Global Marketing, Tim is responsible for meeting the company’s commercial goals and ensuring that the products we produce have clear utility for our customers globally.
"The commercial marketing function globally at QSR is a mix of customer engagement and satisfaction as well as ensuring our product range is easily understood and the value of what we offer is clearly communicated."
Tim has more than fifteen years experience in marketing, working across public and government organizations and within both commercial organizations and agencies. He has worked globally in Europe, US, Australia and Asia and has held senior marketing roles at NZTE (New Zealand Government’s Economic Develop Agency), Leica Microsystems and Leica Biosystems (both part of Danaher NYSE:DHR a Fortune 200 organization).
Rebecca Tallack, Human Resources Manager
BCom (Human Resources, Accounting and Commercial Law)
As Human Resources Manager, Rebecca’s role is to promote and uphold QSR’s company values across all offices.

Rebecca has more than fifteen years experience in the human resources field across a broad range of industries, including Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and IT. Rebecca has previously held senior human resources roles at National Foods and Berri Limited.
Chris Astle, VP & General Manager, EMEA
As QSR’s VP & General Manager, EMEA, Chris manages all of QSR’s business throughout the region. He is based in the United Kingdom.

Chris has more than twenty five years experience in sales and management in the information and business technology sector across Australia and the United Kingdom. With a sound ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions, Chris has held senior sales roles at Cisco Systems, Microsoft and, was most recently Managing Director of M-SEND.
Rob Calcagni, VP & General Manager, Americas
As QSR’s VP & General Manager, Americas, Rob manages all QSR business throughout North, Central and South America from QSR’s office in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Rob has spent his entire professional career, spanning over twenty years, working in the research field. With extensive experience in both qualitative and quantitative research he has held executive management positions in large multi-national corporations and several mid-size research firms including Reed Business Information, Current Analysis, Ovum, InfoTech and Outsell Inc.
Kate Fleming, VP & General Manager, AJP
BA, MA (IntStud)
As QSR’s VP & General Manager, AJP, Kate is responsible for building relationships with our customers and channel partners throughout the region.
"The rapid evolution of social and technology platforms enables us to collect and produce more data, faster than ever before. Enabling and activating researchers, analysts and partners across Asia Pacific Japan to harness and leverage this unstructured data is my key focus."
Kate has over ten years’ experience in business developing working with client organizations across all verticals, managing geographically - and culturally - dispersed teams and client bases. A collaboration technologies expert with an interest in qualitative and mixed-methods research, Kate is enthusiastic about unlocking the power of unstructured data.
