I have installed NCapture for Chrome. Why don't I see the NCapture icon in the tool bar?

Google Chrome 25 was officially released in February 2013. It comes with changes that impact on third party extensions such as NCapture. You may find:

1. NCapture is not available in the Chrome toolbar after a new install of NCapture (via Windows installer)
OR
2. NCapture is no longer available on the Chrome toolbar when it previously has been.

If this is a new install of NCapture (via Windows installer),
Chrome will have disabled NCapture by default. Follow the steps below to enable NCapture.
1. The Chrome menu icon is at the top right hand of your screen. From the Chrome menu, select “New extension added (NCapture)”.
2. You will be prompted to enable NCapture extension. Select “Enable extension”.

NCapture will now be available in the Chrome toolbar.

For a previous install of NCapture which is now missing from the toolbar, Chrome will show a one-time prompt 'Time for a tune-up' to allow the re-enabling of any extensions:
1. To enable NCapture, select “Extension Settings”.
2. The Chrome Extensions page will be displayed. Select the “Enable” checkbox next to NCapture.NCapture will now be available in the Chrome toolbar.

Alternatively, you can also perform the following steps to enable NCapture.
1. Click the Chrome menu icon on the browser toolbar.
2. Select “Tools” and then select “Extensions”.
3. The Chrome Extensions page will be displayed. Select the “Enable” checkbox next to NCapture.

NCapture will now be available in the Chrome toolbar.
