As a licensed NVivo 8 user you'll have access to the latest software updates and enhancements through our regular service packs. They're our way of ensuring you continue to get the most out of your software and our service.

Service packs and hot fixes are available free to all NVivo 8 users, including those using free trial software. Typically, you'll be notified when an update becomes available. If you've received a new notification, or just want to check for updates, complete the form below. Based on your information we'll recommend the most appropriate update and provide you with the link to download it.

Step one: What's the version number of your NVivo 8 software?

Tip: To identify the version number of the software you are using, open NVivo 8 and go to the 'Help' menu. Select 'About NVivo 8'. The version number will be displayed in the top row on your screen.

Please Note The current version of NVivo 8 is 8.0.200.0. If you are using this version, your software is up-to-date. There is no need for you to download any service packs at this time.

I think what NVivo does for us at the headline level, is that we don’t have to spend a lot of time reading material from one area to draw a conclusion, we can pull back and have a much higher view of what the issues are from a client’s point of view.
